Our Philosophy Of Ministry

PURPOSE:
We exist by God's grace to pursue a passion for God's supremacy for the joy of all peoples by developing loving disciples of Christ. In obedience to God's Word, we joyfully build relationships with others, engage in growing to be like Christ, and impact all people for the glory of God. (Eph. 3:21; Mt. 28:19,20)

  1. Our People

Jesus said, "make disciples" therefore the most important aspect of our church is helping each other grow in Christ.

A disciple is a believer who is becoming more like Christ by studying the Bible and applying it by faith in daily living. The results will be growth in character, in capability to minister to others, and in making more disciples. The mature disciple desires to glorify the Father in everything. (2 Co. 3:18; Eph. 2:10; 1 Co. 12:4-31; 2 Ti. 2:2; 1 Co. 10:31) [refer to the Definition of a Disciple document].

We summarize our philosophy with the following three words: “Surrender, Service, and Sacrifice.” We “surrender” our will to Him that loves us, “Serve” Him Who deserves our all, and “Sacrifice” for the One Who sacrificed Himself for us on the Cross of Calvary.
